Three ways you benefit from new windows

More light. Less heat.

The strategic placement of windows can reduce the need for artificial lighting throughout the home. Artificial light accounts for 10% of the home’s energy use.

Block noise

Windows are one of the biggest culprits in allowing noise to get in your home. Well designed windows can reduce noise and help create a more peaceful home.

Save energy

Leaky windows can make you uncomfortable and lead to higher energy use in households. At TreeHouse we offer high performance windows and doors that are designed to stand up to the Central Texas heat.

Window styles we carry

No matter the shape or style, the right windows can improve the beauty, comfort, and energy efficiency of your home.

A casement window is hinged at the side and opens outward like a door. No obstructive railings, easy hand-crank open, and interior screens make these windows perfect for installation in virtually any area of the home.

Slider windows slide to the left or right for easy-to-open capabilities allowing in natural light and fresh air. Since they open and close without protruding, horizontal sliders are an excellent choice for rooms facing walkways, porches or patios.

Picture windows are fixed windows that do not open. They are usually installed in difficult to reach places to let in light. For unobstructed views where ventilation is not a concern, picture windows are ideal.

Awning windows are hinged on top and open outward, allowing for ventilation without letting in rain or falling leaves. They are often used for basements because they can be placed high on the wall and can easily operate with a turn of the handle.

Single Hung

The single hung window, often referred to as a sash window, is easy to slide up and a standard choice for modern home construction. In the single hung window, the bottom sash moves up to open and allow in air flow, while the top sash is fixed.

Double Hung

Double-Hung windows are one of the most popular styles for homeowners. The window can be operated from the bottom or top sash, sliding up and down for ventilation.
